Our Leaders

Austin Fowler was born and raised in Dalton, Georgia. He is a graduate of Valdosta State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education, a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and an Educational Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership. Before entering full-time ministry, Austin spent seven years in public education, teaching sixth-grade mathematics and high school special education. In 2023, he transitioned into full-time work with House to House/Heart to Heart, where he serves as Director of Development. He also serves as Director of Operations for Polishing the Pulpit and as the Outreach Minister for the East Ridge Church of Christ.

Austin has a passion for evangelism and helping others become more effective in reaching the lost. He has participated in more than 20 mission trips to Latin America, where he has worked in evangelism and helped teach and train young people to share the gospel with others.

Epifanio Carranza III is a Houston, Texas, native. He has been married to his wife, Karen, for seventeen years, and they have three boys. Epifanio began preaching in 2019 and has continued in the ministry, teaching and evangelizing. He graduated from the Memphis School of Preaching in 2022 and began working full-time in a local congregation shortly thereafter. He is the Youth and Family Minister for the East Ridge church of Christ in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he works with young people, families, and the congregation in teaching, preaching, and spiritual development. His work demonstrates a genuine love for Scripture, a devotion to sound teaching, and a desire to help Christians mature in their faith, knowledge, and devoted service to God.

Eric D. Garner is a native of Chattanooga, TN, and is privileged to be married to his beautiful wife, Daljuania (Del-wana), who blessed him with two wonderful and lovely daughters, Aiyana (I-yana) and Leilani (Lay-lani). He served the Avondale congregation in Chattanooga, TN, from 2009-2021. He began preaching for the church at Ooltewah in January 2021. In June 2025, he
accepted the work at the East Ridge congregation in Chattanooga, TN.

In addition to preaching, Eric holds a secular position as a high school assistant principal. By way of education, he earned a degree in Bible from the Online Academy of Biblical Studies, and secularly, he holds a Doctorate of Education from Carson-Newman University. Eric has been fortunate to conduct gospel meetings, serve in lectureships/conferences, and hold speaking engagements domestically and abroad. The Lord has blessed him to be involved in various works within the Lord’s church.

His current works include:
• Instructor for the Chattanooga School of Preaching and Biblical Studies.
• Host of Make It Plain: The Eric, Kee, and Cameron Show on GBN.
